Drive down either of two small winding roads, and you’ll find yourself in the small oceanfront community of Aliomanu. Its location is ideal, conveniently tucked away between the more populated towns of Kilauea to the north and Kapaa to the east. Two narrow roads run along the ocean here, with houses dotting each side. Aliomanu Estates is a sprawling agricultural subdivision, comprised of large estates with ocean and mountain views. The Aliomanu beaches are mostly tourist-free, adding to the sweet “off-the-beaten-path” charm of this area.
