Kalaheo, gateway to the National Tropical Botanical Garden, is a popular bedroom community as it is conveniently located between Lihue and the west side. Kalaheo has a small but robust commercial section, and the majority of homes have nice ocean or mountain views, as well as views to the western sunset.
