Bordering the coffee fields and moving up into the Kauai hills, peaceful Lawai has a variety of homes—smaller “starter” properties as well as large agricultural parcels with big open ocean views. This small, rural valley is home to the Lawai International Center, home to 88 Buddhist shrines, the likes of which are not found outside of Japan.
