Originally from Salt Lake City, Utah, Paula visited Kauai for the first time in 1982 and immediately fell in love with the island. She built a home in 1986, made the move in 1988, and has called Kauai home ever since. Twenty-three years in Paradise has given her an appreciation of the beauty and aloha that abound on this magical island.

Paula has a sincere interest in the welfare of Kauai and it’s people. As a member of the Rotary Club of Kapaa, Paula has chaired their major fund raising event, “Taste of Hawaii” for seven years. She and her husband Jim, owner of Jim Saylor Jewelers, enjoy golf, sailing and spending as much time as possible with their five children and five grandchildren.

Following Hurricane Iniki, Paula worked for an insurance company, inspecting over a thousand homes island wide. Her knowledge of Kauai, its communities and her desire to help others find their dream homes is what fuels her passion in real estate.
