Kauai Land with a View – Create Your Own Private Estate

Drive down to the end of a winding dirt road where you'll find a property with fertile soil, a year-round growing season, level land and easy access to water — a farmer's dream. Throw in total privacy and gorgeous views and you have the makings of a spectacular private estate on the world's prettiest island, Kaua'i. This 3.8 acre parcel bordering a wide, rushing stream lies in the foothills on the eastern side of the island. The climate here is ideal for growing food, with just the right amount of rain to make irrigation unnecessary except during the rare drought. The property is comprised of three level terraces. Each is a long, wide grassy meadow. Walk the gently sloping paths between the meadows. This was formerly a flower farm, and it still has thousands of tropical flowers and fruit trees. Planted along the stream is a mature grove of guadua bamboo, known  as the best bamboo for building. It can be used for houses, bridges, walkways, gazebos and the like.

The zoning allows for one house, a guest house and outbuildings such as barns, studios and workshops. The house can be built to take advantage of both the gorgeous views and the soothing sounds of the stream. This is NOT a CPR, but an autonomous parcel. Priced at $699,000. Call Micki at 808 639-6853 for a tour or more information. (Owner is listor)
